Mission Leaders from Nagaland “A Call to Concentrate on the Children in 2015”
The “4-14 Window,” an initiative to reach the children of age between 4 and 14 years for the Lord Jesus Christ, held at New York from 10th to 16th October 2014. This remarkable conference was hosted by the Promise Ministries at Promise Church, Flushing, New York, USA, under the theme, “Towards the Best Practices.”
How about Nagaland Christians parents? Are we making efforts to bring up our children of 4-14 years, in the fear of the Lord?
Facing the Global Family Challenge….with Hope
The global church watches, with great alarm, the escalating destruction of families in their midst, manifesting in various forms, including the divorce pandemic, the exodus of Christians from their faith in God, the failure of Christian parents in evangelizing the following generations, attempts to redefine marriage, etc.
In this highly secular and “progressive” 21st century, the ancient concept of idols seems anachronistic and irrelevant. So “yesterday”! And yet – consider the definition of an idol and how “yesterday” it really is: “An idol is .any image or material object to which religious worship is addressed – any person or thing regarded with blind admiration, adoration or devotion.”
