Egypt Report from Business Sphere

These young Egyptians were genuinely excited to see an American tourist in Alexandria. There aren’t many tourists in Egypt today and the economy depends heavily on tourism. But they are excited too by the new freedom and security that have been restored in Egypt. Just 6 months ago they would not have dared even to be out in public.

World Without Orphan

Over 25,000 Ebola Orphans at Risk: Churches join effort to care for vulnerable children who have lost one or both parents in West Africa” was reported in an article of Christianity Today dated November 20, 2014.  “My mama is dead in my house and we don’t know what to do,” the article began followed by the story of an 8-year-old boy who called the national hotline in Sierra Leone, by dialing 1-1-7 earlier this month. The father had already died, presumably from Ebola, and this boy was now head of the household with five younger siblings.”

The Jehoshaphat Strategy

God in His Word tells us that no matter what trials and tests come against us, He is always faithful to give us a way out, “so that you can stand up under it” (1 Corinthians 10: 13). Probably not many of us will face the kind of “vast army” that Jehoshaphat did, threatening total destruction and death, but sometimes it can feel like it. 

4/14 Window Conference Central Asia, Almaty, November 13-14, 2014

For the first time in Central Asia a 4/14 Window Conference was held in a local independence church in Almaty, Kazakhstan. More than 120 leaders, youth leaders and children ministry workers attended the event.

Some key leaders such as bishops, chairperson of Kazakhstan Evangelical Alliance, and senior pastors from all parts of Kazakhstan among those who were present also some key leaders fromnTajikistan and some pastors from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
